BEGINNING ENAMELING

 In this class, you will learn the basics of the enameling process.  you will apply and fuse enamel powders to metal to create colorful jewelry.  You will learn to wash and prepare your enamels, counter enamel your metal, sift, wet pack, sgrifitto and stencil.  We will also explore the use of stringers and lumps to create designs.  Come have some fun!

CHAMPLEVE ENAMELING

 In this fun-filled 4 week workshop, we will create patterns in copper by etching, engraving or fabricating the surface of the metal to create depressions.  The depressions are then filled in with colored enamel to create a beautiful piece of jewelry.

CLOISONNE ENAMELING

 In this exciting 4 week workshop, you will learn the art of forming fine silver wires into a beautiful linear design.  The spaces (cloisons or cells) between the strips of silver are then filled in with thin layers of colored enamel to create a unique "painting" in glass.  Join in the fun and create your own personal "coloring book"!
