Metals Edge Studio is an exciting, unique studio, dedicated to metalworking, jewelry making and glass arts, located just south of the arts district in vibrant downtown Scottsdale, Arizona.  It's owner, Carol Berger Taylor, has devoted her life to the arts and art education.  With over 33 years of experience in jewelry, metals and enameling she lead a staff commited to the education and promotion of metal and glass arts as well as the support of artistic endeavors by artists of all skill levels.

Metals Edge provides classes and workshops for all levels of artistic experience - - from complete novices through seasoned professionals.  We offer on-going classes in two to eight week sessions taught by our local staff artists.  These classes are geared toward a broad overview of common techniques for the medium.  Our workshops are more specialized topic based.  They give a more in-depth look at a specific technique or process.  These workshops are taught by staff or visiting artists from around the corner or across the country.  If neither of these options work for you, we also provide one-on-one private instruction in your choice of techniques.

Metals Edge is also home to several artists working in a variety of media.  Artists may rent studio space by the hour or by the month.  Hourly renters have access to tools and equipment that they may not otherwise be able to use or afford to buy.  They work in a classroom not occupied at the time.  Monthly renters have a dedicated space or bench in which to work in our artist studio rooms.  They also have access to all the tools and equipment of the studio.  If you are interested in learning more about either of these options, please call 480-425-0026.
